At Komalam, we treat our customers like family. Our core philosophy is to provide premium, comfortable traditional apparel alongside an honest and transparent shopping experience. We understand that sometimes an item might not meet your expectations, or a size might need adjusting.

If you receive a wrong product, a damaged item, or encounter a genuine issue with your purchase, we are fully committed to resolving the matter fairly through our Refund Policy outlined below.

1. The 7-Day Notification Guarantee (Our Promise to You)

  • 7-Day Window: To be eligible for a refund or a replacement, you must notify us of the product issue within 7 days from the date of delivery.

  • Based on Your Message Timestamp: We want you to be completely worry-free. As long as you send us your support message within the 7-day period, your request is 100% valid.

  • Even if our customer support team takes a little time to reply due to high message volumes, or if the final resolution stretches past the 7th day, you are fully covered. Because you reached out to us on time, it is our absolute duty and commitment to assist you.

2. How to Request a Refund via WhatsApp

To keep things simple and avoid complicated portal navigation, we handle all our customer care and refund processing directly over WhatsApp.

Please send a WhatsApp message to our official customer support number: (+91) 9242226535 containing the exact details you filled out during your guest checkout:

  1. Customer Name

  2. Mobile Number & Email ID

  3. Product Details & Order ID

  4. Reason for Refund/Return

  5. Proof of Issue: A clear photo or a short video showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item received.

3. Conditions for Refund Eligibility

To ensure a successful refund or replacement process, the returned garment must meet the following criteria:

  • The apparel must be unworn, unwashed, and unused (trying it on briefly for a size and fit check is completely fine).

  • The original tags, labels, and brand packaging must be fully intact.

  • The item must be returned in the exact same condition that it was delivered to you.

4. How Your Refund Will Be Processed

Once your return request is approved on WhatsApp, our team will coordinate the logistics. After the product safely reaches our unit and passes a basic quality inspection, your refund will be initialized immediately:

  • For Prepaid Orders: The purchase amount will be automatically refunded back to your original payment source (Bank Account, UPI, or Credit/Debit Card) via our secure payment gateway, Razorpay.

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Since you paid in cash at the time of delivery, our team will ask for your preferred bank account details or UPI ID on WhatsApp, and the refund will be transferred to you directly.

  • Processing Timeline: Once initialized, the refunded amount usually takes 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your bank account, depending on standard banking network settlement times.
