Cancellation Policy

At Komalam, we strive to process, pack, and dispatch your favorite traditional outfits as quickly as possible so they reach your doorstep in time for your special moments. Because we aim for lightning-fast fulfillment, we have a structured timeline for order cancellations.
Please read our cancellation rules below to understand how to cancel an order or how cancelled transactions are handled.
1. How to Request a Cancellation
If you change your mind or have accidentally placed an order with an incorrect address, please contact our team immediately. Like all our customer support, cancellation requests are handled directly and comfortably over WhatsApp.

Provide the following details: Your Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and the Order ID/Product Details received in your automated digital bill email.
2. Cancellation Window & Timelines
Before Dispatch (Full Refund): You can cancel your order free of charge at any time before the product has been handed over to our courier partner. Once our team verifies that the package has not left our unit, your cancellation will be processed immediately.
After Dispatch (Cannot Be Cancelled): Once an order has been securely packed, dispatched, and a tracking link has been generated, the order cannot be cancelled in transit. If you no longer require the product, please accept the delivery and initiate a standard return request within 7 days via WhatsApp, according to our Refund Policy.
3. Processing of Cancelled Orders & Refunds
Once a cancellation request is approved by our team before dispatch, your refund will be handled instantly and securely:
For Prepaid Orders: The entire transaction amount will be automatically rolled back and refunded to your original payment source (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, or Net Banking) via our payment gateway, Razorpay.
For Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Since no payment was processed online, the order will simply be voided in our backend system, and no charges will apply.
Refund Timelines: Once initialized through Razorpay, it typically takes 5 to 7 business days for the refunded money to reflect in your bank account, depending on standard banking processing cycles.
4. Cancellations by Komalam
We reserve the right to cancel an order at our sole discretion under exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
Stock Unavailability: In rare cases where an item (saree, kurti, or kurta) fails our rigorous quality check before packing and no alternative piece is available.
Pricing Errors: If an item is accidentally listed with incorrect pricing details.
Incomplete Address: If the shipping address or phone number provided during guest checkout is incomplete, incorrect, or unverified, making delivery impossible.
Note: If Komalam cancels your prepaid order, a 100% full refund will be processed back to your original payment method immediately via Razorpay, and an automated email update will be sent to you.
